Almost nine years at the company that coined "the cloud": Software Engineer (2012–14), Senior Software Engineer (2014–18), then Lead Software Engineer (2018–21). I built the internal tools thousands of engineers used every day, helped create Lightning Web Components, and was lead architect on Salesforce Surveys as the company grew from 7,000 to 70,000 employees.
Part of the initial team that created LWC (codenamed Raptor): turned Lightning Design System components into interactive components and architected how they would be versioned and supported for decades.
Worked with the team that created SLDS, then on the Aura styling team that went behind every other team to make all of Salesforce match the design system.
On the initial team that created Salesforce Surveys, built natively on the platform: architected the data schemas, built the Builder and Recipient UI/UX, and carried it through deploy, marketing and launch.
Lead engineer who created all the front-end UI/UX for the Kanban, Sprint and Agile tools (GUS) used daily by thousands of engineers and PMs as the company grew tenfold.
Founded and led the team inside the executive branch that built Salesforce apps for business units, plus the Events, Marketing and Agile teams, on the company's internal Salesforce instance.
Helped launch Salesforce1, the mobile app that put the whole platform on a phone, during the shift to Lightning.
Designed every internal productivity tool myself, and re-did the marketing for the entire department, including its email and website.
Working with the Salesforce Einstein team from 2016, I evaluated and tuned ML models trained on Mayo Clinic data until they predicted cervical cancer with over 95% accuracy.
Seven wins in the company-wide Hack Day competitions and three patent-pending apps that came out of them.
Spoke at Dreamforce in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020 on Lightning Components, developer productivity and building natively on the platform, including debuting a tool I built from the ground up on stage with co-founder Parker Harris.
Created and presented the Quick Ramp series and the GUS new-hire presentation that brought engineers up to speed on the internal tooling.
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
